Summer Camp 2005

This summer, the Gateway at Wardman Court in collaboration with The Boys & Girls Club #10 held a four week camp. It was a great experience for us and the youth that participated. Every participant learned different aspects of technology and how to utilize what they learned. These included the different parts of the computer, computer terminologies, and the creation of their very own web page.  Over the course of the four weeks, over 90 students participated between the ages of 6 - 14 years. We would like to sincerely thank all the participants and especially Mr. B.J. Jimenez, Ms. Chiquita and all the people at Boys and Girls Club #10 that made this camp a success. In addition we would also want to thank our counselors Nysha and James from DOES for their dedication to the youth.
